Who the Bible Says You Are

You are His image "So God created man in His own image. He created him in the image of God." Genesis 1:27

You are chosen and set apart "I chose you before I formed you in the womb: I set you apart before you were born." Jeremiah 1:5

You are a slave to righteousness "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt should lose its taste, how can it be made salty? Its no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled on by men." Matthew 5:13

You are a child of God "But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God." John 1:13

You are a friend of Christ "I do not call you slaves anymore because a slave doesn't know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have heard from My Father. " John 15:15

You are chosen and appointed by Christ to be His fruit "You did not choose Me, but I chose you. I appointed you that you should go out and product fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give." John 15:16

You are a saint "To all who are in Rome, loved by God, called as saints." Romans 1:7

You are a joint heir with Christ, sharing His inheritance with Him "The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God's children, and if children, also heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ..." Romans 8:16-17

You are His holy temple. He dwells in you "Don't you know that you are God's sanctuary and that the Spirit of God lives in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:16

You are one with Him "But anyone joined to God is one spirit with Him." 1 Corinthians 6:17

You are a member of Christ's body "Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it." 1 Corinthians 12:27

You are a new creation "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; old things have passed away  and look, new things have come." 2 Corinthians 5:17

He chose you for His delight "for He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight... according to His favor and will." Ephesians 1:4,5b

You are a fellow citizen with the rest of God's family "So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saint, and members of God's household." Ephesians 2:19

You are God's workmanship and His handiwork and born anew in Christ to do work For we are His creation - created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.

You are dearly loved "Therefore be imitators of God, as dearly loved children." Ephesians 5:1

You are complete "For in Him the entire fullness of God's nature dwells bodily, and you have been filled by Him who is the head over every ruler and authority." Colossians 2:9-10

You are chosen, holy, and loved "Therefore, God's chosen ones, holy and loved..." Colossians 3:12

You are a partaker of Christ. You share in His life "For we have become companions of the Messiah if we hold firmly until the end the reality that we had at the start." Hebrews 3:14

You are one of God's living stones being built up in Christ as a spiritual house "Coming to Him, a living stone - reflected by men but chosen and valuable to God - you yourselves, as living stones, are being built into a spiritual house for a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 2:4-5

You are His son/daughter "Look at how great a love the Father has given us, that we should be called God's children. And we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it didn't know Him. Dear friends, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed." 1 John 3:1-2a

He is in you and you am in Him "This is how we know that we remain in Him and He in us: He has given to us from His Spirit." 1 John 4:13

You are born of Christ and the evil one cannot touch you "We know that everyone who has been born of God does not sin, but the One who is born of God keeps him and the evil one does not touch him." 1 John 5:18
