Well, it's here! I got my FBI Clearance! And the funny thing is that it arrived at exactly 16 weeks to the day. LOL
Now that I have this in hand, I'm ready to move on to the next step. So next week I'll be flying to New York City, along with my friend Cindy, to apply for my visa in person. We'll be flying in on Tuesday, standing in line most of the day, turning in our applications and paperwork, and then flying back the next morning. So my first trip to NYC will be almost all business. LOL
Once we've applied, it will (supposedly) take about 5-10 days to find out if we have been approved or not. If they choose to deny our request we'll have to go through the appeal process and possibly apply all over again (in NYC). But if we're approved then I'm ready to go! Wow! I can't believe how close I am to going to South Africa!! Amazing! I'll let you all know my official departure date once I hear back from the visa people. But in the mean time, please join me in praying for God's will and His timing in all of this! Thanks!
