Inter-dependent vs. Independent

"I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me. Still, you did well by sharing with me in my hardship." Philippians 4:13-14

I love these verses! But most of the time we only read verse 13 and stop there - believing that is all there is to learn from this passage. But if you read the full passage (verses 10-13) you'll see that God is asking us to not only believe that through His strength all things are possible, but also that He has designed us to work together.

I believe this is how we should work in our day-to-day lives, as well as in any ministry opportunities that God allows us to join Him on. We are to work together, as one unit, the Church, not as individual Christians. I believe if we can keep this in mind as we go about our daily lives, we'll be surprised to see how much God wants to involve you in the work He is doing all around you! You'll also find that your personal relationship with Him will grow in leaps in bounds as you allow others into your needs as well as working to meet theirs.
